The effort is dedicated to my grandmother, Flora Eddith Vandruff Garrison (yes, she spelled “Eddith” with two d’s!), whom I never knew, as she died one year after I was born. Her diaries and love letters to Robert Garrison paint a picture of a warm and loving person, and so while I regret never having known her, her personality was carried forward to my mother, who was herself a warm and loving person. To them both, I say “thank you” for being.
Of course, I will be grateful for any additions and/or corrections to the information herein, and ask that you contact me with any such items.
