DEALINGS
CRAIG
Mrs. Ann Craig, died at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J. Ganear,
in the Wise Addition, East Waynesburg, at 11 p.m. on thursday March 28,
1885 of paralysis.
The deceased was for some 55 years a member of the M. E. church. She
lived and died in the Christian faith after reaching the ripe old age
of nearly 78 years. She was born at Morgantown W. Va., and married Mr.
____Craig at the age of eighteen. Mr.____Craig was the mother of Mr.
Al. Craig, artist, who was located here a few years ago, and Mrs. Jack
Ganear; Also a sister of Auntie Stahl, of the place.
The funeral took place from her late home, on Saturday, last, at 10a.m.
The remains were interred in the Hookstown burying grounds. The friends
while comforted by the remembrance of her good life and the knowledge
of its final future have yet the symnathies of the entire community in
thier sepsration from her.
