Camp Run Farmer Commits
Suicide
Jollytown, Aug, 6.--Clarke Hennen, 63, well
known farmer of Camp Run,
W. Va., near here, was found dead yesterday forenoon in the barn where
he had hung himself. No reason for the suicide was given by
relatives.
The body was found by his granddaughter, Miss
Anna Hennen, who went to
the barn yesterday around 11 o'clock to call him to dinner. Dr.
E. W. Rose, of Hundred, W. Va., said he had been dead several hours.
Mr. Hennen, whose home is south of the
Mason-Dixon Line, was born
October 24, 1876, a son of the late Alex and Lucinda Taylor
Hennen. He spent his entire life on the farm where he was born.
He married Anna Pethtel, who died 20 years ago.
Surving are one daughter, Mrs. Ora Fordyce, of
Fairmont, W. Va.; four
sons, James Hennen, Philadelphia; Russell and Edison Hennen, at home,
and Milton Hennen, of Camp Run, W. Va.; one sister, Mrs. Clara
Underwood, Claysville, and three brothers, John and Frank Hennen, West
Alexander, and Martin Hennen, of Camp Run.
