Glenna Neely Minor

Glenna Imogene Neely Minor, 72, of Prosperity, died at 4:35 a.m.
Wednesday, February 10, 1999, in Washington Hospital.
She was born August 26, 1926, in Proctor, W. Va., a daughter of Sam and
Violet Workman Neely.
Mrs. Minor was a homemaker, a member of Beulah Baptist Church and
church choir director for many years.
On December 25, 1953, she married Elbert E. Minor, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John Whipkey, Gary Whipkey and Ronald
Minor, all of Washington; a daughter, betty Fisher of Prosperity; two
brothers, Buck Neely and Sam Neely of Cameron, W. Va.; three sisters,
Joann Strait of Jackson, Mich., Wonda Courtwright of Waynesburg and
Ramona Cook of Washington; 16 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Sam Whipkey; four brothers, Bob, Gene, Carl and
Vincent Neely; and three sisters, Gladis Gray, Frieda McMasters and
Rexenne Bighley.
