In the name of God Amen, I George Shintz [Shinn] of the County of Greene and state of Pennsylvania being sick and weak in body but in sound mind and disposing memory for which I thank God for this and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of my ________ which it has pleased God to bless me with in this world I give and bequeath of these things in the following manner.  I desire that my debts and my funeral expenses may be paid by  the sale of my perishable property. first I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Mary Yeagar One dollar to be paid out of the property.  secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Elizabeth Levingston One dollar out of my perishable property.  Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my beloved George the improvement that I now have with all the appertanences therto belonging from the Creek both in the state of Virginia and in the state of Pennsylvania all but sixty acres which was called Halls improvements.  Fourthly I give and bequeth to my beloved daughter Milly the above Sixty acres at the end of the place that was called Halls improvement.  Fifthly my household furniture I allow to be equal divided between my son George and my daughter Milly likewise perishable property if it arrises to more than pays my just debts and funeral expences it is likewise to be equal divided between them, my son George and my daughter Milly.  And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friends and son-in-law Peter Yeager and my son George Executors of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all other former wills my me made.  In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 6th day of January 1817.

On the sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one before Nathl Dustin acting as Register for the probate of Wills and ______ administration in and for the said County personally came Alexander Clegg and George Yeager, the two subscribing Witnesses within named and on their solemn oaths did testify that they were present and saw and heard George Shintz the testator within named publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing and annexed instrument of writing for his last Will and testament and that at the time of doing thereof he was of sound mind disposing mind memory and understand to the best of their knowledge, observation and  belief.
